Key Responsibilities

  •  Coordinate helicopter arrivals, departures, passenger movements, and helideck activities.
  •  Maintain clear communication with helicopter crews, platform leadership, shorebase personnel, and other appropriate parties.
  •  Verify passenger manifests, baggage, cargo, weights, and required documentation before each flight.
  •  Coordinate passenger check-in, safety briefings, and safe movement to and from the helideck.
  •  Inspect the helideck and surrounding areas before helicopter operations and confirm that required firefighting, rescue, communication, and emergency-response equipment is ready for use.
  •  Direct and coordinate the helideck team during normal and emergency operations.
  •  Monitor weather and platform conditions that could affect helicopter operations.
  •  Coordinate the safe loading and unloading of passengers, baggage, freight, and approved hazardous materials.
  •  Maintain helicopter logs, flight records, manifests, and related documentation.
  •  Maintain accurate personnel-on-board records and track crew arrivals and departures.
  •  Prepare and distribute daily reports, personnel lists, room assignments, muster assignments, and crew-change information.
  •  Assist with coordinating helicopters, marine vessels, shorebase activities, and personnel movements.
  •  Maintain employee timesheets, work schedules, training records, certifications, and other required documentation.
  •  Support platform leadership with administrative duties, reports, correspondence, meeting materials, and safety documentation.
  •  Enter and update information in company and customer databases or management systems.
  •  Assist with inventory records, supply requests, purchase orders, shipping documents, and material tracking.
  •  Maintain confidentiality when handling employee, operational, and customer information.
  •  Participate in helicopter emergency-response drills, platform safety meetings, and other required training.
  •  Perform additional clerical, logistical, and operational-support duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  •  Previous offshore experience is required; deepwater production experience is strongly preferred.
  •  Previous experience as an HLO, offshore dispatcher, logistics coordinator, POB coordinator, or platform clerk is preferred.
  •  Current HLO training or certification is preferred and may be required by the customer.
  •  Working knowledge of offshore helicopter operations, passenger movement, manifests, weight control, and helideck safety procedures.
  •  Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and electronic recordkeeping systems.
  •  Experience with SAP, Heli-Pass, or a similar personnel/logistics management system is preferred.
  •  Strong organizational skills, close attention to detail, and effective written, verbal, and radio communication skills.
  •  Ability to prioritize responsibilities, work with limited supervision, and interact professionally with employees, contractors, aviation personnel, and shorebase teams.
  •  Must pass all required background checks, drug screenings, physical examinations, and customer onboarding requirements.
  •  Must possess or be able to obtain required offshore credentials and training, which may include TWIC, SafeGulf or RigPass, HUET/BOSIET, water-survival training, and CA-EBS.

Physical and Work Requirements

  •  Ability to work a rotational offshore schedule, including 12-hour shifts, nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
  •  Ability to travel by helicopter and marine vessel.
  •  Ability to climb stairs and ladders and move safely throughout an offshore production facility.
  •  Ability to work outdoors in changing weather conditions and around production equipment.
