Job Summary
Responsible for timely preventive maintenance, corrective activities, and special projects involving mechanical components and systems to prevent downtime and ensure the efficient and continual functioning of all mechanical equipment on board the production platform.
Key Responsibilities
– Perform maintenance and repair of mechanical equipment including: main engines, air compressors, fire pumps, potable water system, bilge manifold and system, sewage treatment system, cold start air compressors, lifeboats, and cranes.
– Make regular rounds to monitor equipment and respond to issues.
– Troubleshoot and solve mechanical problems; plan and implement projects effectively.
– Identify all necessary parts, supplies, and equipment for maintenance tasks.
– Coordinate with the OIM to ensure timely ordering of required items.
– Perform all work in a safe and efficient manner.
– Conduct and communicate Job Safety Analysis (JSA) and risk assessments with all involved parties.
– Supervise and direct work activities of contracting mechanical personnel.
– Ensure all assisting employees and contractors understand their roles and job processes.
Education
– High School Diploma or GED
Professional / Technical Qualifications / Licenses / Certifications
Minimum:
– THUET
– T-2 Certificate

– First Aid / CPR
– Helicopter Landing Officer
